The customer called at the beginning of June to have us inspect the piping and basket strainer at the pool at Woodland Water Park. The existing piping was too tall to the center line of the strainer. Our recommendation was to install a spacer plate under the pump to bring it to the correct elevation. A spacer was ordered and will be installed when it arrives.

Once the materials arrived, the pump was disconnected and removed from the concrete mounting block. The new metal spacer plate was installed in order for the pump to be mounted at the correct elevation. Once installed, a block was placed under the pump head to maintain level. The pump discharge piping, as well as the inlet piping, were disconnected and removed. The new inlet piping, valve, and saddle tap were installed and connected to the inlet of the pump. All piping was installed in compliance with local plumbing code.
