The client requested we remove the existing sump pump from the crawlspace. Upon inspecting the pump and surrounding area, I informed the client that in removing the sump pump there is the potential for flooding. They stated they understood but still need the pump to be removed. I provided the estimate to disconnect and remove the discharge piping and sump pump, which was approved. I disconnected and removed the interior discharge piping and the sump pump. I also removed the exterior discharge piping and installed pipe terminations.
