During the initial inspection the 10" exhaust pipe was found to have failed. The exhaust from the two heaters have been connected with a wye fitting to a tee. This appears to be causing a restriction of the volume. With onsite information, the original piping was connected individually to the tee fitting before exiting through the exhaust pipe to the roof. The existing piping has recently been installed in a different manner than it was originally, this may be the cause of the multiple failures. Under this estimate, each exhaust from the heaters will be individually connected to the tee. This will lower the velocity of the exhaust as it will not be restricted by the wye connection. Each joint and piping seam has been properly secured with proper fasteners as well as foil duct tape as required by local code.
